SALVATION
DALCRUWH.jpg (118138 bytes)

The foundation of all Christian living and service.

Of all of the needs of life, preeminent is the need for life- after this life.  All of mankind is under the curse of death.  Death, the end of physical life, is a common end for every human being; and without Salvation all will suffer the second death- hell and the lake of fire.
As Christians, we know about Salvation through Christ.  We even know the rudiments of what Salvation means.  But few of us know what the term really means.  Oh yes, we know what benefits we derive from it, forgiveness of sin, Heaven, the power of God, in the person of the Holy Spirit, dwelling within us to help us to strive toward godly living, etc., but we don't have the real depth of knowledge about Salvation that is available to us.  And since it is available to us, then to not partake of that knowledge is to disobey God's command that we study His Word.

II Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

SALVATION COURSE
DALCRUWH.jpg (118138 bytes)

The purpose of this class is to teach you the foundation upon which all of our Christian life is built.  Salvation by God's grace through faith in Christ is the cornerstone of our faith and the only means of gaining the Holy Spirit who alone can equip us for all ministry for God and empower us for a life of godly living and effective service.

When you finish this class you will have a biblical working knowledge of Salvation- what it is, what it isn't, who it is from, how to get it, how to keep it, and through that knowledge gained, how to pass it on to others in obedience to Christ.

 INSTRUCTIONS:
-
We do NOT keep records for students who are Monitoring Only.  However, if you would like to keep track of your progress through this course, you can download a Course Record Form on which you can keep all pertinent information concerning your progress through the course.

  • Minimum suggested attendance for the entire course is 7 weeks.

  • Minimum suggested attendance per lesson is 1 week.
(This should be the equivalent of one hour of study per lesson.)

  • Complete each section of the textbook, looking up all of the scriptures referenced.  You must use the King James Version because all of the scriptures in these courses are from that version.  There are blanks in the scriptures which are quoted in the lessons.  No provision is made for you to fill in the blanks, they are there only to make it necessary for you to go to your Bible to read the completed reference and or to bring your attention to a particular portion of the scripture.

TESTING:

  • Open book tests:  All tests in the Salvation course are "open book," which means that you may use all study materials (workbook, textbook, Bible, etc.) while taking the tests.
EXACT ANSWERS: Those tests that are open book will often require the exact answer from the textbook, workbook, or Bible, whichever of the study materials are appropriate, for most of the questions.  Incorrect answers, spelling errors, punctuation errors, extra spaces before or anywhere in the answer or after the answer, will cause the answer to be scored as "Incorrect."  Along with the privilege of using your study materials and taking an "open book" test comes the responsibility of giving the answers to questions verbatim from those study materials wherever required.

  • After completing each section you will take the test for that section.

  • When you have passed the section test, it is suggested that you review the textbook in order to find the correct answers to any questions missed on the test before going on to study the next section of the test.   You will have automatically received a copy of the test and on it you will find the correct answers along with your answers.  You can use the correct answers from the test to verify that you have found the correct answer in your review of the textbook.

  • After completing the last section of the textbook and passing the test for that section, then you will need to retrieve the PASSWORD and take the FINAL TEST.  You will find the Password and Final Test links at the bottom of this page.

SALVATION COURSE TEXTBOOK:

  • The textbook has been divided into 7 sections with each section containing one lesson.  You will download each section, one at a time, and study that section and then take the test any time after you have fulfilled the suggested required attendance for the lesson- which, as listed above, is 1 week for the lessons in this course.

  • Click on the links in the list below to go to each individual section of the textbook.
