Pastoral Theology

In this course you will study what God says about the Pastor.  Who, why, how, his qualifications, his family, etc., are some of the subjects that will be studied.

This class is based upon the notes from a class taught by Dr. Loys Vess who is now with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  This study is taken chiefly from that class and has been expanded somewhat by Dr. T.E. VanBuskirk, one of Dr. Vess' students.

This is a class from pastors to pastors about pastors as taught by the Lord in His Bible.

    INSTRUCTIONS

Please read these instructions completely before proceeding to the class.

  • Read the textbook, Pastoral Theology.

  • It is recommended that the student not complete more than one section of the workbook per week.

  • We do not keep records for students who are Monitoring Only.  If you want to keep track of your own progress through the course, you can download and print the COURSE RECORD FORM.  On it you can keep a record of all pertinent information on such as date and score for each test so that you will be able to keep track of your progress through the course.
